That is really nice! This branch left the SP main at Palo Alto and for a time went all the way to Santa Cruz. B

I hope they weren't going very far running the tender forward.  Must have been rough on the engine crew.

2453 was normally assigned to the Del Monte, but engines 2476 and 2477 were set up for tender first operation leaving  the Los Gatos branch and heading back to San Jose:

Here is a picture of the 2476 on the Bayshore deadline with the pilot that had been added to its tender for the Los Gatos to San Jose backup moves.
