This was one incredible event. Lots of amazing events occurred, topping the list the awesome tripleheader between the 3751, 4960, and the 18 in the lead Saturday evening....I have an abundance of pics to share....Fitz does too.
Even though My family and I saw alot, we missed a bunch...( two 4 year olds with us ). Great meeting alot of fans (and you too Fitz!) and crew with a common love. So much to report...so little time...pics work best.

What in the world is going on over there!! The 4960 in the lead with the 3751 at the beginning of the 3rd set of 4 run-by\'s on the return leg from the Canyon on Saturday. After this run, they go get the 18 in Williams for the tripleheader in the evening dusk. All concerned did an absolutely unbelievable job at logistics.

The light was a little tricky...Amtrak units are in the rear.

Second run-by set at about MP35...4960 and the 3751.

There goes the 18 at a high rate of speed past us returning and passing us from the Canyon...We didn\'t know it at the time, but she had a date with us in a few hours...No wonder she is in a hurry!

Cataract Creek trestle. Saturday Morning 8:55AM. Does anyone have a pic of the 3751 crossing Hell Canyon on Sunday? That was a tough one to see...trestle was not very accessible....Did not pace her there, but briefly went by that location Monday on the return leg of a family trip. Remote.

I was asking Fitz this question....he knows alot and had a definite idea...When was the last time a tripleheader occurred with a trainset? Any takers?

Well, that would likely be when SOO 1003, 2719 and NP 328 triple headed, before that I was thinking 4501, 611 and 1218 at the NRHS convention.

I photographed a triple header at the opening of SteamTown National Historic Site, I believe the engines were the 2317, 3254 and the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern 425. Too bad this one wasn\'t in the daylight.
