.   .   .   in SEPT '92 Santa Fe's "Employee Appreciation Special" was eastbound at MAY siding on Santa Fe's San Bernardino Sub in Riverside, CA, headed for Chicago. One of my very few steam chases but it was nice being the only one at this location.

Crazy how that thing has barely run more than the 2 or 3 miles to LAUPT in the last 30+ years.

And to the Grand Canyon, San Diego, Fullerton and San Bernardino, all multiple. Much less in the last TEN years though.
