I saw a film last night that showed this locomotive. Can anyone here shed additional light on this locomotive?

Must have been some pretty old footage, According to what I can dig up, 3165 was a 4-6-2 retired in 1933 or 1936 (depending on which source you believe)I'm not sure how close of a relative it is/was to the engine being slowly restored in the roundhouse that also houses SP 4449 and SP&S 700.

Yes, It was a 1926 silent comedy short called " Danger Ahead."
