Yampa Valley Mail
Author: Edwardjb

Used to ride this train to Grandby and back on weekends (maybe it was Tabernash). Anyway, it was a nice day trip. I usually got on and off at Rocky Flats (flag stop, I believe, no platform or anything). Almost always one Alco, one express car, and one passenger car.

Does anyone remember.......did the YVM also make a flag stop at Wadsworth Blvd. in Arvada? Way in the back of my mind I seem to remember something about a stop there.

Ed-

Absolutely amazing picture. I live about three miles away from here now and oh my goodness what a difference forty-ish years make!!! Have any more shots in the Denver/Arvada area from back then??
