If I could have been around early enough to have really worked on steam...this would be my first choice for big road. All kinds of jobs out of Dunsmuir back then in 3 directions. Would have loved to have been called for 327/328, the passenger to Grants Pass. Power was anything from a light Pacific to an MK-6 to an MT and sometimes even a 2-10-2.
