The second shot is the 5771 at Green River UT. The third shot is the 3097 working its way down from Soldier Summit to Helper.
Date: 05/18/06 09:35 Re: A few more from 1974 Author: SP6190 This set of pictures starts out with the 5304 working its way up to Soldier Summit on the point of a westbound. The 5304 is a single unit helper and run light back down the hill when its duties are completed. The 5340 is also westbound on a loaded coal train with a another single unit helper, this time on the rear of the train. The location is Colton Utah.
Date: 05/18/06 09:37 Re: A few more from 1974 Author: SP6190 The first shot in this group is a Utah Railway cab hop, headed by one of their RSD-4s #305. It is headed back to Martin after taking a coal train over the hill to Provo. The last shot is DRGW 3016 west at Castle Gate.
