This is my first time posting photos, so I hope this works. Shot this at Oroville while on Thanksgiving break. Who needs turkey when you have Kodachrome64 and gas money. Enjoy!

Nice photo of a unit involved in a tragic incident early in its career. 709 was mu'ed to lead unit 708 and working cars at Sano siding, Nevada in March 1954, when a road master running west bound in a track motorcar on the single track WP mainline collided with 708 and was killed. I can find no information as to why the road master did not see or hear the train on the same track.
