Excellent Bob, I grew up during that era. Now all stack trains and Dash-whatevers look alike...

High headlights, no warbonnets, and repainting locos more and more often than any other road. A very pure era, just take care of business, great stuff.

Remember the Santa Fe VP who said "There will never be double-stacks on the Santa Fe".

I wounder if he is still around.
