The call of the north. Part ll

#1 VIA 6535 leaves Union Station with the Super Continental. The shot was taken from behind the CN Tower on July 16, 1980.

#2-3 You do get a few freight moves through this location in addition to all the passenger trains. Here is CP 7026 with a short local. The 7026 was followed shortly by the CP 6525 still in the old colors.

#5 A set of RDC's with the 6356 leading heads for London.

It's rush hour now, and we have moved back to Spadina St.

#6 There we catch at meet with two GO trains.

#16 the 4393.

#17 After eating we walked back to the CN Tower. Here we see the Spadina roundhouse taken from way up there. Something like 178 floors up. It was kinda strange seeing planes flying below us.

That night we took the train to Dorval QE, coach. Never did that again.

Yep. That's what it looks like. Actually I think it was sort of a trailer for a hand cart.

That is a great place to leave a hand cart. Wonder if anyone ever removed it?

Think that would do a little number on a train. if one hit that.
