#18, the eastbound Rio Grande Zephyr snakes through "The Wiggle" (west of Kyune, Utah) with a whopping 6 domes in April 1983. That's Silver Sky in mourning bring up the rear, she will only ply these rails for several more weeks- Steve in cooler than usual Grossmont, CA.

I was lucky! I rode it SLC-DEN and return in early April 1983, don't remember the exact date. As you may recall, later that month the huge landslide occured and Thistle, Utah was gone and the line didn't reopen for 3? months...Steve
