Santa Fe on Tehachapi

1)SD45 #5366 brakes downhill Westbound at Woodford siding in July of 1989, leading a 7 unit lash-up that includes 2 GP-9's as the second and third engines out.

2)SF30C 9514 bursts out of Tunnel #5 at the West switch of Cliff siding with an Eastbound freight in July of 1988.

3)GP60 4002 leads an Eastbound Intermodal train as seen from the top of tunnel #1 in October of 1988. Down below in the background, a bad ordered Union Pacific GE engine and a tank car can be seen setout at Caliente.

Excellent series. Wish that was still the scene on Tehachapi.
