ID these items for me will you please?

I'm donating these items to our museum and would like to know just what the tool is called and used for.

#1 & 2 is a linemans tool. I think you hook it onto the wires as you work on them to keep from getting shocked.
#3 is two sticks, about 4 & 5' long handles. What are they used for and the name.

#7 This is a Frisco Bridge # from the Frisco line South of Ellsworth, KS

#8 UP tie tongs.

#9 UP Flare, Fuse and match box.

Wow, cast iron---don't know if I ever saw any of those, but I do remember those fusee boxes handing in all the cabooses.

The first pictures look like the equi-spaced electrodes used to measure resistance to earth using a type of ohmmeter called a "Megger."

I do have another cast iron set that is about a inch wider I would say but not in as good of condition as this one. upkpfan

The first 5 pix are of electrical fuse pullers of the medium voltage variety. The ones connected by wire are used as safety shunts.
