The 6201 was not even renumbered (from 201 to 6201) until 1953. The 7029 was a Kansas Division locomotive and it didn't get its gray paint job until after WW 2. wag216

It's OK, starsandbars, we APPRECIATE that you're sharing these photos, and to be totally frank with you it doesn't make any difference what the date is!

Oh, sure, the shot of the two-tone grey 7000 could not have been made in 1942....BIG DEAL. Please keep these photos coming and go right ahead and use the date you have for each.

I WILL KEEP PUBLISHING FROM MY COLLECTIONS , IF THE PHOTOGRAPHER ADD NOTES I WILL INCLUDE THEM IF NOT NO NOTES, I Hve a extra large collection so it will take a long time to go thru everything from the 1890's to present day thanks for the support
