If these machines could talk...........................
Author: bxa1

I spent the day on Saturday 11.24.2012 at the Santa Express event at Mid-Continent Railroad Museum in North Freedom Wisconsin. I wandered around the property, looking at the equipment, and thinking of the "glory" days of railroading. If these machines could talk............

Today (Nov 25-1961), a group of MidContinent Railroad Museum members, purchased the CNW 1385 from the CNW for $2800.00

I recall that ALCO #7 has a beautiful sounding air horn.
