Here is a shot I found in my collection of UP 1481 on the Butte Special setting at the depot in Butte MT in July 1962. Not sure who took the photo.

I rode this train in August of 1966 to Salt Lake City. I do remember the lead engine was a F unit with a BIG plow-pilot and 2 GPB units. The train consist had many head end cars.

Got a picture of it in Butte in August of 1970 with E unit 911 on the train. Will post pics later
