Has anyone seen the exhibit of steam locomotive 1401 at the Smithsonian?

Does anyone know the railroad from which steam locomotive 1401 was obtained?

Thanks terrybaker for the information on steam locomotive 1401. “Southern Ps-4 4-6-2 No. 1401”
I did a Google search for Southern 1401 and got a number of interesting websites. Two of the websites are below.

Oh for God's sakes, look at the surroundings: Name another steam locomotive, other that SRR 1401, that is displayed in the basement of a building?

Baldwin 60000 is in the basement of the Franklin Institute. They even let you run it, sort of.

They could get mighty close with the A&WP 290. At one time SR tried to get their hands on the 290 and make it into a facsimile PS4 but the West Point Route would not let it be done.
