History sleeps
Author: santafe199

Last month I gave a RR presentation for the Topeka chapter NRHS boys in place of Mr. “PRose” who had a conflicting obligation. This month he caught up by giving his presentation, while I only attended. But ahead of the meeting/show he & I both took a few night scenes around the Ward-Mead grounds. Here are a couple of my dabbling efforts:

1. A wig-wag signal stands alone, frozen in the stark spotlight of retirement.

2. Former Santa Fe waycar 1552 rests in the depths of a dark & peaceful retirement serenity, with a buckboard wagon & a Wells-Fargo coach watching over.
(2 photos taken on the Ward-Meade grounds about 5 hours ago in Topeka, KS [November 8, 2013])

Thanks for looking back!

Great night photos Lance. Dave invited me down for the show but my jet was in rehab and I couldn't make it. LOL
