Santa Fe waycars

1. Number 565 on a train, Winslow, AZ, 6-1-88.

2. Three at Winslow, AZ, 6-1-88.

3. Nine, including one in the "merger" scheme (?), bring up the rear, Parks, AZ, 6-2-88. Parks is CP Maine on the railroad.

That would be 999700, the only Santa Fe extended vision caboose painted in the proposed SPSF caboose scheme.

Weren't there four altogether that got the SPSF scheme?
I seem to recall that. I got this caboose in Iowa, so
Santa Fe by this time really lived up to the "pool"
caboose concept.

Standard cupola Ce-1 999088, Ce-2's 999524 and 999528, and extended vision Ce-8 999700 were the four Santa Fe cars that got SPSF paint. In addition, SP painted one bay-window hack, 4726.
