Nostalgia & History > Q Question: SignalsDate: 06/26/15 01:09 Q Question: Signals Author: trkspd Does anyone know why some intermediate signals on the BNSF St. Joseph Sub (Ex-CB&Q) have N and S prefixes?
There is a signal in St. Joseph on Main 1 before French which has a S prefix for EB movement and a N prefix for WB movement. I am told no one out here knows what the letters stand for, and it looks like the CB&Q timetable I found has this originally as a East/West mainline, as it is today. The Omaha Sub also has some odd prefixes on some of the intermediate signals too, but I just don't remember what they are. Thank you for your time. Posted from Android DG .
