Three Wonderful Erie Lackawanna EMU Photos

Roger Puta took these at unknown locations.  The slides were stamped by the processing lab NOV 78.

While all three are great photos, the second of the conductor talking to the motorman is exceptional.

The third one could be  an eastbound train at  the west end of Berkeley Heights platform.  Milepost 25.9    I believe NJT rebuilt that switch to straightline the main.

The second picture (conductor and engineer) might be a westbound waiting for a meet at Bernardsville. There used to be a spur off the meet track which led to the freight house

Sure looks like the "Happy Rock " Gladstone Line with the wood Catenary poles

Yes. Also note the red aspect is in the upper position. Other roads have the red aspect in the lower position.

those signals are all along the 2nd district through Pa, Oh and Indiana and the 1st district up to Cleveland ...
