So's Wonder Woman related to that Hawaiian volcano goddess, what's-her-name, the one that used to play soccer? She might be mistaking you for some fake volcano god moving-in on her territory. But what really bothers me is that, if I have my facts down correctly, Wonder Woman seems to be rescuing you from you. That's pretty deep stuff, psychologically speaking. Has anyone checked the air in your tires, lately?

Now since this is a train site, I think that this thread should say something about them, so how about: UP Steam Program!

Okay.  I've been posting under the name Boilingman for a couple of years now, and I post fairly often.  A few months ago I was Googling around looking for some obscure something and up came a reference to something I had written!  I was somewhat shocked- it seems quite a bit of my AFT stories on TO come up if you Google the American Freedom Train in conjunction with sort of "lesser" towns (no offence- I live in a town of less than 500 souls) or other oddities.  It had never occurred to me this would happen.  So next I wondered what would happen if I searched for Boilingman?
Well...  you get Wonder Woman vs Boilingman.

I laughed, copied it, and forgot about it- until I stumbled on to it again yesterday. 
You're right- it has nothing to do with railroading (but I thank EO for trying to save me on that point).

Now and then I stop to enjoy the inherent absurdity of what we're all doing here.  
I'm not saying what we are doing is worthless, I've spent quite a large part of my life pursuing this sort of thing. I'm just saying it's, um, silly.

Oh hell SR, we're not saving the world by counting rivets and bashing the UP steam program. In a grand sense, what we are doing IS worthless - the cosmos would get along fine without railfans; probably railroads. The hobby is fun and that's about it.
