Nostalgia & History > T&P station in Terrell,Tx -- Dec 81Date: 02/11/16 13:46 T&P station in Terrell,Tx -- Dec 81 Author: gcm 1-2) About 30 miles east of Dallas on the old Texas & Pacific line is (it's still there) this station at Terrell.
Amtrak's Texas Eagle passes through here (at speed-no stop). Date: 02/11/16 15:59 Re: T&P station in Terrell,Tx -- Dec 81 Author: The_Chief_Way Is this all there ever was? Looks like just the express buidling standing.
Date: 02/11/16 17:40 Re: T&P station in Terrell,Tx -- Dec 81 Author: tomstp The passenger part is on the far end. One thing about Terrell, Tx. There must be 20 road crossings in town and when trains come through (the track is very busy) you wonder if the horn blowing will ever stop.

the REA office. Terrell rated a bigger building than this for passengers and I have reason to believe it has long since been razed. Date: 02/11/16 19:33 Re: T&P station in Terrell,Tx -- Dec 81 Author: millerdc Looks like this may have been the freight station

Yes the picture was the freight station. The passenger station was a block east and served the T&P and the TM until the TM was abandoned.
