Today I have 2 boxcars for freight car Friday. Both photos were shot by Ralph Buhr in Tacoma WA.

1. LVRC 4126 Sierra Pine Limited, May 5 2000.

2. TCRY 1032 Tri-Cities & Olympia, Apr 4 2005.

What's the story on the LVRC reporting mark in your first picture? That was Vermont's Lamoille Valley Rail Corp. in the 1990s (formerly the St Johnsbury & Lamoille County RR), but by 2000 it was gone, taken over by the state and converted to a rail trail.
