Continuing with my plan  to show over the year a selection of my photos gradually in historical order, here's some from August 1960. I decided I'd walk the mile or so over to the B&O tracks in Northeast Washington DC and see what could be seen. This is near the current Fort Totten Metro Station.

I was rewarded with this view of the Eastbound Daylight Speedliner and Westbound Ambassador.

Good to see these photos. By the time I visited the East Coast, everything was different, lost or Amtrak was running the passenger services.
