McKeen Motor Cars
Author: MadisonKirkman

Does anyone here have interesting and rare photos of McKeen Motor Cars or products built by the McKeen Motor Car Company?  I'll start off this thread with a factorite photo of my own.

Madison, I'm guessing that you are new to TrainOrders, so welcome! I suspect that most of the contingent here doesn't understand how heavily involved you are with McKeen Cars, so allow me to introduce you in my first image. I happened upon your great McKeen website  some time ago, BTW.

2) A dust-up between McKeens
3) UP car at Kearney, NE, 1905; Soloman Butcher photo

I wanted to see how long it took for someone to realize it was me...it didn't take that long. And yes, I joined last night to see what threads there were with McKeen Car Photos. I found about 50 that were interesting. I'm just curious now what photos everyone has that haven't been published. I like you photo of what appears to be UP#3. A very rare photo indeed.

"Pullman Park"?  Interesting.  I presume that was quite near the Pullman Company Shops in Richmond?  I wonder if it was built in mind for people who worked at the shops.

Hey, that's cool! A new photo to me. May I use it on my website? Where did you get it and who should I credit?

Pullman Park was one of dozens of pre-WW1 developments in the East Bay. Still wide open spaces in those days.

Photo: Picnickers off real estate promoter' special train to Pullman Park. The Pullman shops are in the background. This ca.1915 photo was recorded by the same unknown commercial photographer as the McKeen shot, but on a different day,  judging by the numbers on the glass plate negatives.

Well, at least the women aren't ALL staring at their cel phones. Just the two in the black dresses in the lower center, giggling about some Facebook post.
