Nostalgia & History > Today's Dip into the Misc. FileDate: 02/19/17 07:59 Today's Dip into the Misc. File Author: gbmott Got this out of the way early today. I realize that most of these are going to be shortlines and some industrials which helps explain why they never got properly filed. These first three are all by Louis Marre.

Posted from iPhone Date: 02/19/17 11:29 Re: Today's Dip into the Misc. File Author: australianterrier Easy to tell the heritage of the Great Miami unit. Original Nickel Plate with the nose headlight, lack of dynamic brakes and the bell cut into the nose.
Jim Date: 02/19/17 13:31 Re: Today's Dip into the Misc. File Author: tq-07fan Picture 3 might actually be in Jeffersonville OH at the Landmark elevator spur with the unit on the former DT&I mainline. Neither my friend who worked at I & O at the time nor I can remember exactly when I & O too over that line from Grand Trunk Western. This slide would have to be very early on from what we could remember though.
The Great Miami and Scioto River Railroad, the tracks it is on and the paper mill it served are all gone now. Hamilton Ohio is still hanging on... Jim Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/19/17 13:33 by tq-07fan. Date: 02/19/17 14:28 Re: Today's Dip into the Misc. File Author: gbmott tq-07fan Wrote:

Thanks for the correction and I have corrected the original posting. Gordon Date: 02/20/17 10:44 Re: Today's Dip into the Misc. File Author: penncentral74 australianterrier Wrote:
