Tuesday Two - EL Brier Hill Yard

Here are two EL photos taken in the Brier Hill Yard area near Youngstown, Ohio on 10/01/1972.
Image one: EL 923 (ALCO RS-3) is inside the diesel house.
Image two: EL 913 (ALCO RS-2) and EL 7101 (EMD F3A) are in the engine facility.

Always like EL photos and find these interesting.
The ALCOs and F Units look pretty tired and worn.  But they would have to last longer as the EL had to declare bankruptcy due to Hurricane Agnes in late June 1972.

I was lucky enough to get to Brier Hill once, in July 1975. I remember the e/f being very tight shots. Still wish I had taken more but I was a teenager on a tight film budget then.
