EMD 105 ??

I posted a photo of EMD 105 at https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?11,4277684 and called it a SW7. Now I find out from the Diesel Shop roster that it was DH2, a SW8 modified as Diesel-Hydraulic.

No way that is a "diesel hydraulic"!

Looking at the rear truck I swear I can see the traction motor leads coming down to the rear motor and no sign of a drive shaft between the trucks. I don't believe it is a DH drive at this time in its life.

It mentions that after the demonstration tour, the unit was converted to a conventional diesel electric and used as an EMD plant switcher.
