MKT RS3 142 at Waco,Tx -- May 77

Alco RS3 142 was repowered with an EMD engine in 1959.
When new in 1951 it had a steam boiler for passenger train use.

That's great!

This unit survives today and still operates at the Midland Railway in Baldwin City, KS, as seen in this photo I took on Valentine's Day, 2016.
