Were All These Taken in Dauphin, Manitoba?
Author: MartyBernard

Roger Puta took these in October 1971. It looks like they were all on the same role of Kodachrome. The numbers are the number Kodak printed on the slide mount. I do not have the missing slides.

22 Depot

24 CN FP9 6508

25 CN FP9 6508

28 Side of train and elevators

30 CN GMD1 1047. The sun seems to have come out some. If this is not Dauphine, where?

31 Elevators. If this is not Dauphine, where?

Thanks for any help,
Marty Bernard

The Dauphin station was built by the Canadian Northern Railway, on what was their mainline from Winnipeg to Vancouver. Dauphin is the first division point west of Winnipeg, and had a few branchlines radiating from the terminal, requiring a larger than average station

One of these locals was a once a week trip to Winnepegosis. I rode the mixed up and back in 1975.
