We haven’t visited with Art’s honorary “Uncle” Oliver in a while, so how about a scene from the Rock Island roundhouse facility in Kansas City from 80 years ago? Here are 2 men just going about their work-a-day chores, servicing this handsome 0-8-0 between assignments.

Very nice! Armourdale was home to 5 of Rock Island's 10 total 0-8-0 types. The other 5 belonged to Silvis.
