Progress at Spencer Thirty Years Ago 1987
Author: krm152

My visit to the NCTM at Historic Spencer Shops was made thirty years ago on Oct 25, 1987. This was four years after the museum had opened to the public. By this time, some basic progress had been made: the grounds had been cleaned up, some railroad locomotives and rolling stock were displayed, the Barber depot had been restored, and a steam train ride had been established.
