CSX 1504 is westbound through Akron, Ohio in June 1988. That bush and tree infested area to 1504's left was once EL's yard in Akron.

Stellar job. I'm an outlier, but I actually like the "stealth" CSX paint scheme the best of all theirs. I have no idea why.

I really like the stealth scheme also, but the "Kitty" still takes the cake. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Bob, great photo.

Fascinating to see the color-forward Chessie scheme lead to CSX's stealth scheme. I agree with the others, to me many of CSX's paint schemes have been less than thoughtful, but the stealth scheme is a classic.

I thought the Stealth was the all gray CSX paint scheme?
