Extra west pulling up at west end of Ridgely WVa. yard to get its helper, on the right.1972 Eastbound coal train meeting westbound extra west of Baltimore Street in Cumberland 1969 Date: 04/09/18 08:49 Re: Western Maryland, Ridgely WVa and Cumberland Author: icancmp193 I lived in Cumberland for a year (1973-74) and my apartment was on the hill west of downtown Cumberland near the hospital. Due to the lay of the land, I could see the Ridgely yard in the distance, but could never figure out how to get there! (No Google maps then). Finally figured it out the last month I was in Cumberland.
