I lived in Cumberland for a year (1973-74) and my apartment was on the hill west of downtown Cumberland near the hospital. Due to the lay of the land, I could see the Ridgely yard in the distance, but could never figure out how to get there! (No Google maps then). Finally figured it out the last month I was in Cumberland.

Fortunately that station has been preserved. I wish they could have saved the B&O station though. It was a gem!
