A few shots from the back of the Amtrak Panama Limited as we arrived in New Orleans.
The crew didn't seem to mind my taking pictures over their shoulder.

(1) North of New Orleans rolling fast (south) on the Illinois Central.

(2) Trains back in to New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal and here we have come around the wye and are ready for the fairly long backup move to the station.

(3) Entering station trackage - Clara St Tower has a low yellow on the pot signal so the train will veer left from the track we are on to the platforms.

Nice shots!! Old Illinois Central Gulf RR train crews, based in McComb, MS and worked McComb-Canton, MS-New Orleans-McComb.
McComb enginemen worked to and from New Orleans. All on that passenger train above.
