That EL unit is EL 1284 an ex DL&W unit (965) not the 1234 an ex ERIE unit with the major distinguishing feature that the 1234 did not have dynamic brakes.

They say the NP used bells from retired steam engines. The GP9’s had them, most of the RS11’s and quite a few of their switchers as well.
