I think running the "bio-diesels" was easier and considerably cheaper too. Far less appealing, of course.... I like Strasburg's mentallity: "Why do you often use steam locomotives to pick up freight left by Norfolk Southern?" "Because we can!". Question begs in regards to the Mt Washington Cog; Were the bio-diesels brought in to keep the place financially sound or instead to increase its profits? Is the market sound for more steam excursions, or is it a marketing problem. Nice shots - thanks for sharing! /Mitch |
