B&O Blues - B&O 3774
Author: refarkas

B&O 3774, 3732, plus another B&O blue locomotive lead an eastbound trailer train through Akron, Ohio on the sunny morning of July 23, 1972. I'm on the west bank just south of the former B&O passenger station looking at the East Exchange Street bridge. The fancy building above 3774 is the EL freight station. To the right of 3774 is the platform access from the ex-EL passenger station.

Excellent shot and nice colors from the Agfachrome slide.
These held up better than my old Agfachrome slides.

The first appearance of the Chessie System color scheme was just a month away.

Now that is a lashup that warms this old B&O heart. Simple scheme but I sure miss it! Very nice!
