Crossing, whistle, and no trespassing were some of them. This one was on the now abandoned Katy line just south of Waxahachie,Tx. After the tracks were gone on the MKT Houston-Katy line, one of these posts (a crossing) survived and I tried to help clear the row but these posts were deep in to the ground and were not coming out. Oct 76 (2) On the Southern Crescent passing a Southern freight with GP30 2540 leading. May 78 (3) A still marked Burlington caboose passes through Denver Union Station. Nov 76 Gary Edited 1 time(s). I agree. I've always thought a solid silver Q caboose with the Burlington Route emblem looked pretty cool. Very 'railroad-ish'... Lance |
