Nostalgia & History > 8-10-1992 Jungo/Antelope,Nevada Westbound Stack after SundownDate: 09/08/19 01:48 8-10-1992 Jungo/Antelope,Nevada Westbound Stack after Sundown Author: RailRat About 1 month after all the exitement of UP 3985 passing thru here, I talked to the crew of this Westbound stack train at the Winnemucca,Nevada Depot, then raced ahead up to Jungo,Nv, to document the passing of this stack train. The engineer was all too wiling to honk the crossing horn, even though ther were no crossings! as he saw me waiting to film him going by, After waiting forever, May or may not have been Bob Larson, or Enginner Friends of him on the old WP? It finally happened to pass by here at Jungo, and then Antelope, as the sun was setting, out here in the wilds of nowhere, Nevada! He Just kept on Blowing the horn for us! (My narration on the first video that he's going about 70mph was probably wrong)
