I seriously doubt the 1985 date on the picture. That would be three years after the UP Assimulation.
The SW9's were shipped off to Omaha for their conversion to SW10's in 1983 or so.

Yeah the arched cab windows and fat stacks are kinda hard to hide!

I doubt the 1985 date listed for the photo as well, but it's a nice photo!

According to Don Strack's Utah Rails site, WP 602 was retired in September 1983, so the date of this slide is incorrect. It was probably February or March 1983 during a Winterail trip. Guess I either lost or misplaced the roll or waited an awful long time to have it developed!
