BN SD40-2's at Providence Hill summit 6-12-93

Eastbound is BN #208 with SD40-2's 8087/7832/7076 passing through the narrow cut at the summit of NP's Providence Hill between Pasco and Spokane, WA 6-12-93.  Double track now and much wider than this!  This was the fourth of five afternoon eastbounds I shot video of this day.  Hordes of BN SD40-2's were boring back then.  Then BNSF happened and the GE's came.  Miss the single track summit cut and braces of SD40-2's that would pass here daily way back when!

Wow, great sights and real EMD sound! Modern Railroading today can't hold a candle to this kind of action!
