TM Tuesday
Author: PVSfan

TM for Texas Midland RR.  This was a hotrod railroad in its day (1890s to 1920) operated by the
playboy son of Hetty Green, Col. E,H.R. "Ned" Green. It started out as the Northeast Extension of
the Houston & Texas Central.  Hetty (the "Witch of Wall Street) acquired it around 1891.  "Ned" extended
it to Paris TX and made many improvements to the road. Then the SP ended up buying it in the late 1920s.
Very little of the line remains today.
