.   .   .   during a summer '75 visit to Rock Island in the Quad Cities area, this was one of four westbounds in a row that departed Silvis yard. Sure seemed like the Rock had plenty of freight moving around to be gone in barely six years. Sad.

Yes, quite a lashup for 1975, when the Rock Island had much newer power.
