1994-95, New paint at the B&O Museum
Author: bandob

In late 1994 and early 1995, several locomotives received new paint jobs.  They were:

SW 900 #633

GP 40   #3684

SD 35   #7402

Ready for service on the railroad.

Do they still have them and if so, how do they look now.  Thanks.

I think they are all still there. Here is 7402 in 2013.

Thanks Bill for your photos.  The museum spent money painting the locomotives, some of which did not need paint immediately while meanwhile the mismanaged museum personnel have allowed all the passenger cars, some of which are one-of-a-kind now, to sit and collect rust.  If something isn't done soon to these passenger cars they will be history, ready to go down to the junk yard at the end of the museum's trackage.  Once the water starts coming through the roofs of these cars it won't take long for destruction, a real crying shame for sure.
