Nostalgia & History > E's, Geeps and F40'sDate: 03/06/21 11:00 E's, Geeps and F40's Author: thebluecomet Back to the North Jersey Coast Line. But, hey, look at the variety at the time for a basic commuter line.
1. A morning rush hour train crosses the newly rebuilt Manasquan River bridge into Brielle, NJ on a sunny June day in 1987. 2. Northbound former CNJ GP40P 4110 stops at Asbury Park, NJ. 1988. High level platforms have altered this view. Northbound trains are considered eastbound by railroad TT. 3. A F40 heads south into the Red Bank station in March 1987. The first of the new cat poles are in place. The Gingerbready station is still there, albeit a bit more ragged. Again, high level platforms were installed changing this view entirely. Red Bank has always been one of the busier stops on the line. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/06/21 11:01 by thebluecomet.
