Out Date: 03/07/21 11:11 Re: makes you wonder why the rails were shiny .... Author: WM1977 Not a good candidate for hi-cube covered hoppers RE:rockoff. What i would call "weed and feed" track. We used to see track like this in some industries in the B&O Baltimore Terminal back in the 1960-70s.

Author: TheNavigator Had friends back in my school days at Idaho who worked on the Nezperce during the summer, generally on track maintenance. Most lived in the nearby small towns; Nezperce, Kooskia, and Kamiah come to mind. Heard lots of interesting stories from their time working for the RR.

They better attend to those joints and ties in the picture which look like they're going down the embankmentl at any moment. Date: 03/07/21 15:59 Re: makes you wonder why the rails were shiny .... Author: cewherry Just remember, as long as the 'wowing' is in the same direction at the same location, you might have to slow down, but you're OK.
When they're not....look out!! Charlie Date: 03/07/21 16:19 Re: makes you wonder why the rails were shiny .... Author: callum_out You will note that the motive power had about the same wheelbase as a Prius!
