Really looks nice when it was clean and new.  I have shot it in Kansas and also the attached photo departing Cowan TN on 10-15-16

Ran a pair of these on an intermodal train from Gentilly, La to Pensacola, Fl. Like driving a car with the accelerating and braking.
Caught a pair on a coal train, just not designed for drag service.

Nice catch Brian. Have seen and shot many of those CSX 600's, but not this one.  Ben

That's a great picture; but the train is probably not entering the yard.  I think it's w/b on #2 Main, passing the yard leads.  There was no reason for it to go into the yard.  This is about a half mile west of my childhood home '43 - '61.  Gerry

No Q173 did not go into the yard  but between Wharton St  and the foot bridge is the beginning of the yard so it is passing the entrance but not going in. Staying on the main.
