Photo taken at east end of the yard or opposite end near the 'railfan bridge'?

First-rate image - The engineer looking back brings this to life.

Outstanding image. Great combination of a paint scheme not often seen in color, an interesting locomotive type, and the pensive engineer at work. Thanks!

Very nice catch and photo.  Like the way the engineer is looking back.

The only thing that looks like it belonged in the 70's was that Weyerhaeuser Thrall all-door boxcar.   If you put a 40 ft boxcar in it's place you'd think you were looking at the 50's or early 60's.
